Zoe's 1st Christmas

Well Zoe survived her first Christmas. She got to meet her Grampy, Gramma Pat, Uncle Ian, cousin Chris, Great Grandma Babs, and Aunt Diane. She was very spoiled and loved all of her gifts. She found it great that she could climb the barrier that Daddy put up and was crawling all over the house.

She has also started taking a few steps. She took one sideways step on the 27th and 3 forward steps on the 29th. I am told she just now took a couple more in our family room. We also reworked the barrier because she decided to eat a handful of Cat food when she was up in the kitchen area. She now stands on her own more frequently I am guessing she will be walking before she is 1.

We will get Steve to put up some of the Christmas pics later in the week. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and was spoiled by Santa. Have a great New Year.

Finally New pics

Well Steve has finally put up new pics of Zoe. I will be sure the Xmas ones go up before he goes back to work. Zoe only has two more sleeps until she gets all her presents. I don’t think she is that excited. She likes the Christmas tree and all the Disney ornaments and she has looked at the presents but not touched them. We let her open on present she got from Ashley & Glen(Dad’s friends from Scotland) She really liked playing with the Winnie the Pooh window screens for the car. Now we just have to remember to put them in the truck. Well Zoe is calling it is getting close to her bedtime so she is a little whiney right now. I will post about xmas next week. We are off to Canada on the 25th until the 29th.

Hope Santa is nice to everyone.

Thanksgiving & first Snow

Well Zoe celebrated her first American Thanksgiving. She had some yams, turkey, peas, mashed potatoes, corn and even a bit of pie. Not pumkin though because her mommy did not notice that it was a frozen pie that needed to be baked so it sat in the fridge for a couple of days and thawed and had to go in the garbage. But the marionberry and rasphberry pie was great. She really kept an eye on her cousin Kaiya to see what new tricks she could learn. She is trying to figure out how to climb over the box we have blocking the step in our family room. I think she may figure it out soon.

She also saw snow for the first time yesterday. I took her out without her hat on and she tried to catch the flakes as they fell. They were the big ones so she was fascinated by them. There is not enough on the ground for any good snow play and she still can’t walk so it may not be until next year that she gets to get out there and play in it.

I am still bugging Steve to put pics up maybe this weekend but no promises. He is just getting farther and farther behind.
