Day 5 — First workout

I missed doing this update yesterday and considered merging it with today’s. But I felt like that was a slippery slope to not doing updates and I’ve committed to myself to do a daily update for the next 28 days.

Today was my first official workout with my personal trainer Jessi. There was a bit of admin work to do at the beginning and so we only had about 45 minutes.

We did cardio (treadmill and elliptical) for 25 minutes then did a few sets of weights on the universal machines to fill out the workout.

I’m pretty sure that she took it easy on me and future workouts will be much tougher. I felt good after the workout and am hoping that I will start to feel more energy as I work out more.

Later today I meet with my dietician and have my first official weigh-in and hopefully transition to the week 2 diet which will add vegetables.
