It seems that these new lifestyle changes eat up a lot of time. Got home from work around 6:30 pm. By the time I made dinner, cleaned up, put Ainsley to bed, did a 7 minute workout (actually 8:45), went grocery shopping, cut up vegetables, cleaned up and wrote this post it was already 11:00 pm. I supposed to be trying to go to bed at 10:30 so that when I wake up at 7:30 it is an even 9 hours. I read that our REM sleep cycle is approximately 90 minutes, so you should try to sleep in even divisions of 90 minutes. I need to get up around 7:30, so I need to go to bed around 10:30 pm. Not sure how effective this is but have been trying it the last week or so and I seem to wake up a little more refreshed, but I’ve made a lot of changes, so not clear what has had that effect.
No official workout today so I did my 7 minute high intensity workout instead. My arms are super sore from push-ups and pull-ups from my last work out, so that was the hardest part. Super tired after those 7 minute work outs.
Grilled Pork Chops on the grill tonight with a little salt and BBQ sauce. Made four, ate one tonight, our Au Pair and I will have them tomorrow and I can take one for lunch this week. They were pretty good. Much better then the marinaded steak tips I made on the weekend. I still have Herb and Garlic marinaded steak tips I need to cook. Maybe tomorrow night.
10,434 steps today. Had a lot of meetings, so got a lot of steps and stairs in, but not much coding. 😦
